hitch theater allows you set up a projecter for a new drive-in movie experience

The portable projection screen 'hitch theater' can be installed at the back of your truck with a projector stand to display movies on your own big screen outside. Created by joe livingston, this innovative entertainment solution could simply pave the way for training movies to make a comeback.

Everything in the kit "hitch theater" comes in a bag the size of a larger folding camping chair, small enough to be stored in the trunk of a car (four feet-l x 13 inches x 6 inches- H). Extending 122 inches diagonally, the screen is large, and the roof rises to a little over a foot high. It can also be configured with a stand-alone stand with a height adjustable projector holder that can extend between 3.5 and 10 feet.

Joe Livingston first got the idea on a date that looked under the stars. He took his partner several miles from his city one night and they decided to watch a movie on his laptop. From then on, he wondered why he could not transmit a TV to do so, and then realized that in a portable theater the experience could be even more romantic.

The hitch theater is currently seeking funding through its kickstarter campaign, which can be viewed in detail here.
